California's Slavic community was shocked to receive news about the recent explosion in Moscow’s Airport Domodedovo. The Slavic-American Chamber of Commerce strongly condemns this act of terrorism. Our thoughts and prayers are going to the victims and their families and to all people of Russia.

We would like to thank Alfia Laub with Nationwide Insurance and Teichert Construction for sponsoring our 1st Annual Holiday Mixer. The event will be heldat Tex Mex Bar and Grill in midtown Sacramento. Over 120 members and friends of the Chamber attended the event making it one of our most successful event of the year. .

GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER’S VISIT TO RUSSIA AS POSITIVE FOR CREATING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
(SACRAMENTO) – Slavic American Chamber of Commerce President Sergey Terebkov issued a statement regarding Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s recent trip earlier this month to Russia to promote high-tech jobs and innovation:
“The Slavic American Chamber of Commerce is very pleased that Governor Schwarzenegger traveled to Russia to promote California’s leadership in the high-tech industry and strengthen relations. In June, the Slavic-American Chamber watched with anticipation as the Governor met with Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev in Silicon Valley. Our organization’s members throughout the region look forward in the future to business and job opportunities as a result of the positive alliance.”
The Slavic American Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to promote a positive environment, growth and economic development for Slavic Americans and other minority groups in business and trade, as well as contribute to the economic development of the region.

San Antonio Spurs game and a networking event before the game, with members of various Chambers from the Greater Sacramento area.
