Join SMUD at the Sacramento Power Academy for a day of hands-on activities to understand how you can have a future in the skilled trades at SMUD. You’ll have the opportunity to perform different skilled trades tasks, learn about requirements for the different trades careers at SMUD, interact with partners who can support you in the pursuit of these careers, and meet the folks at SMUD who perform this work every day. While this event is geared for adults, children ages 15+ are welcome to participate. Children ages 15-17 must have a guardian present. FREE Child care for ages 2-12 will be provided by EmpowerME Preschool and Childcare.
On the day of the event, for your safety we require that you wear close-toed shoes (work boots preferred), long pants, and a long sleeve shirt.
